November 2005
November 1st- Fire Alarm- Officers responded to a fire alarm in the Browning Administration Building. While investigating the alarm, Officer Sprague located a freon pipe that had been cut and was leaking freon. Orem Fire Department was called out and a HazMAt team sent in to take air samples to determine if the room was safe to occupy. A suspect was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief.
November 1st- Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to Parking Services after a visitor to campus became upset over a parking citation. The suspect was was warned for disorderly conduct.
November 4th- Traffic Accident- UVSC Officers along with Orem Fire and Police units responded to 800 W University Parkway on a traffic accident with injuries.
November 14th- Auto Burglary- A female student reported that her car had been broken into and a cd player along with numerous CDs were taken.
November 14th- Fire Alarm- The Activity Center was evacuated for a short time after the fire alarm activated due to construction in the building.
November 17th- Warrant Service- Officer Sprague initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for an obscured windshield. The driver was found to be driving with a denied drivers license and also had a warrant for his arrest. The driver was arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail.
November 18th- DUI- Officer J. Ross came across a vehicle in parking lot T with two individuals passed out. He woke up the individuals and found the 19 yeard old males to have been drinking alcohol. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI.
November 18th- Warrant Service- Sgt. Smith was patrolling the McKay Events Center when he came across a local gang member with a warrant out for his arrest. The individual was bookoed into the Utah County Jail for the warrant.
