approx 6 PM on Saturday evening, American Fork PD initiated a traffic
stop and determined the driver had a warrant out for his arrest. The
warrant was the result of the subject not taking care of a citation
issued several months earlier by a UVSC officer for Failure to Obey a Peace Officer.
American Fork brought the subject to us at which time we took him into
custody without incident. The UVSC officer determined the subject had
the cash needed to post the $200 bail and opted to take the subject to
the Orem PD to post that bail rather than take him to county jail.
Once the bail was posted, the warrant was cleared and the subject was
released from custody.

would not charge anyone with disorderly and the matter was resolved
peacefully.
